RECENT DESIGNS: ANDERSSON HOUSE, PANORAMA
HEIGHTS, NELSON. SINGLE STOREY CONTEMPORARY DESIGN

SW view and approach to Andersson
House. Red painted textured ply cladding with feature walls of horizontal corrugated
Zincalume.

North West view clearly showing how 3
separate areas of the house individually respond to the two distinct view directions while
maintaining cohesive styling. Lower apron roof overhangs are provided to the north side of
the house to control overheating in summer. Some Passive Solar heating measures have been
implimented to the Family / Dining Room shown foremost of the other rooms.

North view from down slope. Timber
decks cantilever over a building restriction line due to soil stability issues.

North East View. Bedroom 2 and 3, with
flat ceilings, shown in foreground (separate from Master bedroom at opposite end of
house). Panels of corrugated Zincalume replace clerestorey windows to rooms with sloping
ceilings.

South East view showing patio and
utility area for Laundry, shown at east end of Garage. (Large module to the rear of the
house) Note articulation of the main roof into 3 separate roofing planes. A full height
glazed panel terminates the end of the main passage providing views and plenty of natural
light to the interior.

For those who think RED is too
bold........
The beauty of this software is that I can alter the textures and colours
with a few mouse clicks to show clients the options before they build.
